On the first Monday of May sweeps, CSI: Miami finished second to the NBC miniseries 10.5, yet still scored significantly in ratings and viewers.
According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Not Landing" earned a 13.0 rating/19 share in the overnights. This means that last night, approximately 13% of households in overnight markets were tuned to CSI: Miami, and 19% of households watching television at the time had "Not Landing" onscreen.
The last new episode, "The Oath", earned a 14.6 rating/22 share and had 20.75 million viewers, whereas last night's viewership was 17.28 million.
Nevertheless, Mediaweek Programming Insider Marc Berman put CSI: Miami in the winner's column. "A below-average Eye net was still a ratings force from 9-11 p.m.," he wrote.
The overnight ratings are here. Total ratings should be available tomorrow.
