CSI: Miami's second season will hit DVD stores across North America today.
The 7-disc box set contains all 24 episodes of the show's sophomore year in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, according to online retailer Amazon.com. All episodes are presented in anamorphic widescreen, and seven instalments will be accompanied by audio commentaries recorded by the CSI: Miami cast and crew.
Season two includes episodes such as "Hurricane Anthony", in which the Las Vegas crime lab investigates several deaths in the aftermath of a hurricane, "Wannabe", which features an unwanted assistant for Tim Speedle, the episode which introduced CSI: New York, "MIA/NYC NonStop", and the season finale, "Innocent", in which Horatio clashes with his nemesis, IAB's Rick Stetler, during an inquiry into the murder of a female porn star.
The package will also contain four new featurettes taking viewers behind the scenes of CSI: Miami. "The A/V Lab Tour" looks at Tyler Jensen's home turf, while "The Trace Lab Tour" reveals the secrets of Valera's work. "CSI: Miami -- Visually Effective" and "CSI: Miami -- Recalling Season Two" examine the process of making the series come to life.
CSI: Miami season two has a retail price of $64.99, but is available from Amazon.com for $45.49. Canadian residents can purchase the set for $67.45 from Amazon.ca, 30 percent off the recommended retail price.
