The franchise comes up short against sports.
On Monday, a repeat of CSI: Miami came in second behind baseball with 10.41 million viewers and a 3.0 rating/7 share in the 18-49 demographic. Boston Legal came in third with 9.10 million viewers and 2.3/6, which made it tied with My Own Worst Enemy in the key demo. Enemy came in fourth in overall viewers with 5.25 million.
A new episode of CSI: New York took second place behind baseball on Wednesday with 13.63 million viewers and 3.4/9 in the 18-49 demo. Dirty Sexy Money (6.08 million, 2.0/5) and Lipstick Jungle (4.90 million, 1.9/ 5) came in third and fourth, respectively.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was number one for the evening Thursday in overall viewers with 18.64 million. Grey's Anatomy came in second for the hour with 15.05 million viewers. In the 18-49 demographic, Grey's won the hour (and the night) with 5.6/14, beating out CSI's 4.7/12. NBC was third with a combination of The Office (9.32 million, 4.7/12) and 30 Rock (8.53 million, 4.1/10). Fox had an average of 3.81 million viewers and 1.6/4 from 8:00-10:00pm from two repeats of Kitchen Nightmares, and Supernatural came in fifth with 3.53 million viewers and 1.5/4 at 9:00pm. Freshman lead-out Eleventh Hour was number one in viewers (11.48 million) and number two in 18-49 (2.9/8) behind ER (3.4/9).
