  • "Invisible Evidence", which was pulled from the schedule at the last minute a few weeks ago to avoid competition with baseball, will now be aired on November 13, according to Elyse's CSI Site.

  • Canada.com reports that ratings for some of television's most popular shows are down across the board this season, with CSI and CSI: Miami off 11 and 12 percent, respectively, from last season.

  • Black August, the independent film in which Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) plays activist George Jackson, has been granted permission to shoot scenes at the Marin Civic Centre, the Marin Independent Journal reported. The Civic Centre is important to the movie because it is the actual site where George Jackson's brother staged an attempted kidnapping in 1970.

  • Lisa Kennedy at the Denver Post has written an editorial on why critics don't "get" CSI and CSI: Miami executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

  • L. Kay Gillespie, chairman of the criminal justice department at Weber State University, told the WSU Signpost that CSI creates "unrealistic expectations" for students. "They don't realize all the chemistry and scientific discipline that is involved," he said. "They're excited about doing a crime scene, but they don't understand how much background and how much education is involved."

  • Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) will host Hour One of VH1's 100 Sexiest Artists at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, according to Yahoo! TV.
