Edward Furlong Joins ‘CSI:NY’ In A Recurring Role

Edward Furlong joins the cast of “CSI:NY” in a recurring role as Shane Casey, a young man embroiled in a case where a serial killer uses the codes and stories found on a series of trendy t-shirts as inspiration for his grisly killings. Furlong makes his first appearance in the show’s fourth episode, “Hung Out to Dry,” which airs October 11.
Furlong, best known for the role of John Conner in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” has also appeared in “American Heart” (for which he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor), “American History X,” “Pecker,” “Detroit Rock City,” “The Crow: Wicked Prayer,” “The Knights of the Quest,” “Visitation,” “Animal Factory,” “A Home of Our Own,” “The Grass Harp,” “Before and After,” and the upcoming “Jimmy and Judy,” with real-life love interest Rachel Bella.
“CSI:NY” will mark Furlong’s first television role.
