  • Melina Kanakaredes's (Stella Bonasera) movie 15 Minutes will air tonight at 4:30 on USA Network. Check your local listings for more information. Thanks to Divine Providence for the heads up.

  • Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) participated in the Hollywood Christmas Parade on November 27th. The parade will air nationally on December 12th. Visit the Eva La Rue official website for more information.

  • The Jonathan Togo (Ryan Wolfe) online gallery has been updated with screen caps of the Miami episode "Urban Hellraisers" and images from the extended scene that aired online. You have to be registered to view these.

  • If you're a David Caruso (Horatio Caine) fan and have enough money to spare, head over to eBay, where you can bid and win a phone call with Caruso. The actor promises the winner will be able to chat with him for 10 minutes about CSI: Miami. Proceeds of this bid will benefit LA Golden Retriever Rescue.

  • The Jorja Fox website Jorja Fox Online has been updated with screen caps of the CSI episode "Dog Eat Dog." The images center around her character Sara Sidle.

  • Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) will make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on December 7th, according to MH.com. Check your local listings for more information and don't forget to set your VCRs.

  • The website Miami Style now has screen caps available fo the Miami episodes "Nailed," "Urban Hellraisers," and "Shattered."

  • Screen caps of the New York episode "City of the Dolls" are also available at Past My Shoulder.

  • George Eads recently visited Paris, where he was briefly interviewed. The actor talked about working with director Quentin Tarantino for the episode "Grave Danger." "I’m not claustrophobic but spend several hours by day six feet under is not cheering. Above all, Quentin Tarantino told me some jokes whereas I wasn’t able to move and to laugh because several crickets went in my nose and my ears."   • The Asian network AXN has put together a presentation called CSI Event in Bangkok to be showcased at the Thailand Animation and Multimedia 2006: TAM 2006 this January. The event will show the importance of technology in real life crime scene investigation and will allow a lucky winner to earn a visit to the set of CSI in Los Angeles.

  • Barbara Walters's list of 10 most fascinating people this year has overlooked some strong contenders, according to columnist Tom Dorsey. If given the chance, Dorsey would've included CSI stars David Caruso and William Petersen in the list.

  • In Iowa, Tyler O'Brien, anthropology professor at the University of Northern Iowa, is seeking a grant of $400,000 to $500,000 from the National Institute of Justice and other organizations to create a body farm in the Midwestern state. The study of these dead bodies will help scientists understand better the process of human decay. "This idea has strong scientific value," O'Brien said. "To answer the question of how long a body has been dead, how long a person has been missing, is critical to criminal investigations."

  • If you'd like to see CBS's holiday claymation commercial starring Grissom and Catherine, head over to the GSR website. The commercial originally aired on November 24th.

  • The newspaper Boston Globe recently ran a piece where they praised Marg Helgenberger's range as an actor, as well as the complexities of her character and how much the show would suffer without her.

  • Students in Greenville, North Carolina, recently had the chance to participate in a fake crime scene as part of their school's crime scene investigation class. The students found a fake dead body in a house and had to collect evidence, take pictures, and find the killer while at the same time get a taste of what real crime scene investigators do.

  • CSI producer Peter Dunne will participate in UCLA's Extension Writer's Studio, in which students take part of a four day writing workshop. Dunne will give out a lecture on the theme Emotional Structure: Creating the Story Beneath the Plot. If you're a UCLA student, call the Writer's Program for more information.

  • Chad Maddux of the website The Trades, has provided a review of the complete 5th season of CSI on DVD. Another less extensive review of the set can also be found at the Washington Post.

  • And the CSI Effect keeps tormenting the court rooms of the United States, this time in Dakota, where jurors actually requested a computer re-enactment of a crime, similar to the computer simulations they use on CSI to prove who dunnit.
