- CSI: New York actor AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) recently visited American troops in Iraq. A video about the trip can be viewed below:

- Series like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Simpsons currently have higher ad rates on sites like Hulu.com and TV.com than on television. Advertisements for Simpsons cost $20-40 per thousand viewers on TV, but the rate online is $60 per thousand viewers. One reason for this disparity is that viewers are more likely to recall online ads than television ads. (Source)
- CBS has launched "Project LENO", which stands for "Late prime Enhanced News Opportunity". The aggressive marketing plan is geared toward boosting the performance of 10:00pm series like New York, CSI: Miami and The Mentalist, which will be moving to the 10:00pm slot on Thursday following CSI.
- The fifth season of CSI: NY will be released on DVD September 29. Details and possible cover art can be seen at TV Shows on DVD.
- Former New York actress Emmanuelle Vaugier (Jessica Angell) moved to Los Angeles, California 12 years ago, but she still calls Vancouver, Canada home. "There is no city more beautiful than Vancouver when it's not raining and it's nice and sunny and warm," the actress told Metro News. "It's the best city in the world."
