Ratings Round-Up

‘CSI:Miami’ won its timeslot last week, while the original ‘CSI’ lost to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘CSI:NY’ posted a series low in adults 18-49.
ABC took Monday night with a 9.6 rating / 15 share for the night, beating CBS’ 7.7/12 and FOX’s 6.3/10. CSI:Miami won the 10:00 pm timeslot with 10.9/18 over ABC’s The Bachelor, 6.4/11, and the premiere of NBC’s The Real Wedding Crashers, 4.5/7.
Wednesday night belonged to FOX with a 15.4 rating / 24 share. CBS placed second with 6.4/10 and ABC finished third with 4.4/7. In the 10:00 pm timeslot, CBS’ CSI:NY led in households with a 7.7/13 to ABC’s Lost’s 7.2/12, though Lost had about 450,000 more total viewers. Though CSI:NY has been winning it’s timeslot, last week marked a series low. The third installment of the CSI franchise is down 27 percent from its season-to-date average and down 14 percent from its season average in households. NBC’s Medium took third with a 4.8/8.
Thursday night marked the first night of May sweeps. Overall, CBS led the night averaging a 9.9 rating / 16 share. ABC came in second with 8.6/14 and FOX was third with a 4.7/8. ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy won the 9:00 pm timeslot with a 12.9/20, beating CBS’ CSI with 12.1/19. FOX’s Trading Spouses placed third.
