Brewster Will Appear In ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 12

Criminal Minds star Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia) participated in the CBS “Fan Favorites” panel at Comic-Con today, and she revealed that former cast member Paget Brewster would reprise her role as Emily Prentiss during the upcoming twelfth season.

Brewster then confirmed the news on Twitter:

Brewster’s most recent guest appearance was in “Tribute”, the nineteenth episode of Criminal Minds’ eleventh season. At the end of last season’s finale, 13 serial killers escaped from prison, leaving the BAU with plenty of suspects to chase. Here’s a quote from Messer about Prentiss’s return, courtesy of CBS:

We’re excited to have Paget Brewster back for multiple episodes in our 12th season. The BAU can use more help this year since they’ve got a lot of known and unknown subjects to catch.
