Geller Addresses The Future Of The ‘CSI’ Franchise

CSI: Cyber was cancelled on May 12, bringing an end to the CSI franchise after 16 years. At the CBS Upfronts earlier this week, CBS Entertainment President Glenn Geller addressed the cancellation, as well as the potential future of the franchise (as quoted by E! Online):

Look I’m incredibly proud of all four shows that came out of the CSI franchise. Clearly it was a huge hit for us. A global hit, all four series. It may come back in another incarnation and that’s where it stands for me.

According to Deadline, producers are open to revisiting the hit franchise after a break.
