CBS Cuts ‘CSI:Cyber’ Season 2 To 18 Episodes

As CSI Files previously reported, CBS is moving Elementary to the Sunday 10:00pm ET/PT timeslot starting March 20, pushing CSI: Cyber off the schedule. Yesterday, the network put out a press release for the eighteenth episode of Cyber’s second season, which indicates that this episode, “Legacy”, will be the show’s season finale.
There are four episodes left in season two. Episode 15, “Python’s Revenge”, airs on a special night and time, tonight at 10:00pm ET/PT following Criminal Minds. Episode 16, “5 Deadly Sins”, will air on Sunday, March 6 at 10:00pm ET/PT. The final two episodes of season two, “Flash Squad” and “Legacy”, will air at 10:00pm ET/PT on Wednesday, March 9 and Sunday, March 13, respectively.
There is no word yet on the future of CSI: Cyber, although CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s fifteenth season was reduced to 18 episodes before the show was cancelled.
