Bow Wow Joins The Cast Of ‘CSI:Cyber’

The latest addition to the CSI: Cyber cast is Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow. He joins the spinoff as a series regular, and you can find information about his character after the jump!

Moss will play Brody “Baby Face” Nelson, a brilliant young man who grew up without parental guidance and joined “hacktivist” groups on the internet for his extended family. He successfully hacked into the stock exchange and wired half a billion dollars to his bank account before he was caught, and now he is forced to work for the federal government while avoiding the temptations of the Deep Web. In order to stay out of prison, Brody is ordered by the FBI to assist Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) on a case. Here’s a statement from CSI creator Anthony Zuiker:

Bow Wow is a gifted young actor who will have the responsibility, through his character, to set an example for young people who watch the show to ‘do what’s right’ even when you know ‘nothing but wrong.’ It will be a redemption story and a cautionary tale all wrapped into one. The role of Nelson required someone with deep acting chops and off-the-charts smarts. Shad Moss is a unique talent that possesses both.”
