‘CSI’ Attaches Directors For Season 14
1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation is in its second day of production on this season’s second episode, and CSI Files has now learned exclusively who will be helming this season’s lineup.
Resident producer and in-house director Alec Smight will continue his position on the series, starting with the Season Fourteen premiere. Following the season debut he’ll return to direct this season’s fifth episode (also known as the 300th installment) and at least two more episodes by season’s end. Executive Producer Louis Milito is next in the rotation, directing the second episode of the season (written by Andrew Dettmann). Fellow in-house directors Brad Tanenbaum (first attached to episode three, written by Tom Mularz with a story by Elizabeth Devine) and Frank Waldeck (at bat with episode four) will also continue to be in the rotation. Phil Conserva will follow up his directing debut from last season with at least one installment.
In addition to the show’s in-house team, Karen Gaviola (“Forget Me Not”) and Eagle Egilsson (“Play Dead,” “Fearless”) will return. For the first time since Season Six, Jeff Hunt will not be directing an installment.
