‘CSI:NY’ Turns Up The Heat In The Season 9 Premiere

1 min read

The premiere of CSI: New York’s ninth season will find the team consulting with a criminal to solve a hero’s murder. (Spoilers after the jump!)

As CSI Files previously reported, the New York season opener will feature Rob Morrow (Numb3rs) in the first of two appearances as a convicted arsonist who has been released from prison. Someone starts setting fires around the city, and according to TV Guide, things get even more serious when a captain from the New York City Fire Department is killed in a blaze. Desperate to catch the person responsible, Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) teams up with Morrow’s character to solve the case. The potential suspects include “a guy who impersonates real-life firefighters and a slightly unhinged arsonist who is in New York to follow in her mentor’s footsteps.”

  1. I can not wait for the new season to start. I am a big fan of CSI NY. I work very hard and look forward to Friday nights. This episode is something different for Mac. Work with a criminal???

  2. I am really happy that there will be another season, I really hope that this will not be the last season. I cannot wait for more Danny and Lindsay scenes and to see the rest of the team do all of their sciency stuff. This is the best show ever and i hope that there will be another season (season 10) 🙂
