Brianna Brown Joins ‘CSI’

Sources tell CSI Files Brown will appear on this season’s thirteenth episode, which is titled “Tressed to Kill.” In the episode, which finds the CSI team investigating a series of murders by a serial killer, the actress will portray the role of Paula. Beautiful, vulnerable, and sympathetic, Paula is one of eleven women who’ve unwittingly had a swath of her hair cut. While at first the victim is nervous when giving a statement to the police, she is quickly put at ease by DB Russell (Ted Danson).
Brown recently completed a recurring role on the Showtime series Homeland as Lynne Reed, an informant working under the supervision of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). Her CSI episode, written by Ed Whitmore (“Unleashed”) and directed by Brad Tanenbaum, is slated to air in February.
